FUJAIRAH SCHOOL THEATRE FESTIVAL

The school theater plays an important role in the development of children's linguistic, social, intellectual and psychological skills as well as enhancing their expertise and information, which in turn promotes the development and progress of children.

Fujairah School Theatre Festival is an annual event held in April and organized by FCMA in cooperation with Fujairah Educational Zone and the participation from all the government schools in Fujairah (both males and females schools).  The festival aims at discovering young talents and fostering them through financial support and training. The festival’s award categories include prizes in acting, directing, costume design, set design and music. The winners are selected by a Jury of famous Arab theatre artists and directors. The festival also trains participants through organizing workshops in expressive performance and lighting techniques.
